ZR RAW Extended
===============
Version: 1.2.3
Build: 244
Build date: 2026-09-08
Channel: Official Release

Getting started
---------------
1. Open Install ZR RAW Extended.app. This community app is not Apple notarized;
macOS may require Control-click > Open or approval in Privacy & Security.
2. Setup places the app in Applications and checks its requirements. Missing
components need internet access and may require a Mac administrator.
3. If Terminal requests your Mac password, typing shows no characters or dots.
Type it normally and press Return. Never send your password to support.
4. Open the app, add camera files, choose a destination and output, then export.

Requirements
------------
Apple silicon, macOS 13 or later, and enough free space for your media.
Setup checks Python, FFmpeg and REDCINE-X PRO and installs missing components.
DaVinci Resolve Studio is optional for REDline exports. To use Resolve, install
it separately, set External scripting using to Local, and restart Resolve.
The current qualification Mac uses Resolve Studio 21.1. Resolve 21.1 requires
macOS 15 or later; the REDline workflow retains the app's macOS 13 minimum.
You do not need an Apple Developer account.

Workflows
---------
Auto Export creates verified H.265 10-bit 4:2:2 or ProRes files.
Timeline Builder uses Resolve for manual RAW adjustments before rendering.
New projects stay in the ZR RAW Extended Timelines folder at the root of the
active Resolve project library, including projects prepared by the listener.
Render Timeline Clips bakes Camera RAW adjustments and excludes preview colors
and Color-page grades without changing their states. Original camera audio is
preserved; timeline audio edits are not included. Mixed resolutions and frame rates
are organized into native-format timelines. Use a new destination for another
render, and separate sessions for sources that share a filename.
ProRes RAW Timeline rendering requires Resolve 21.1 or later. It preserves RAW
adjustments in the verified camera-log profile, then restores the viewing preview.
Nikon N-Log and Panasonic V-Log profiles are recognized; unknown profiles stop
instead of guessing. Build separate Timeline Builder sessions per profile. R3D and
N-RAW keep their existing camera-log workflows.

The optional listener watches chosen folders and offers a five-second review
before starting. Configure the engine, output and destination in Listener
settings. Previously processed files are recognized in the queue.
For REDline H.265, select a fast cache drive when prompted. The app checks space
and manages its temporary media. Persistent Timeline Builder projects remain
available for later editing.

Help
----
Repair Installation checks missing requirements. A non-admin user may need
their Mac administrator to complete dependency installation.
If setup fails, you can save a diagnostic report or consent to send it securely.
Reports never require your footage or Mac password. Keep the case code for
support. No report is sent without your consent.
